No Plastic Zone” Initiative

As part of our school’s ongoing efforts to promote sustainability and environmental responsibility, we have launched a “No Plastic Zone” initiative in line with the CBSE’s emphasis on eco-friendly practices. To reinforce this initiative, we conducted a Paper Bag Making activity for our primary grade students.

On July 18, 2025, students from Grade 1-4 participated in the “Bag it Right: Paper Bags for a Greener Sight” activity. The activity aimed to raise awareness among students about the importance of adopting sustainable practices and the adverse effects of plastic pollution. Students created paper bags, exhibiting creativity, responsibility, and enthusiasm throughout the activity.

The activity aimed to raise awareness about the importance of sustainable practices, educate students about the adverse effects of plastic pollution, encourage the use of eco-friendly alternatives and foster environmental stewardship among young learners. The event was well-received and successfully met its objective of sensitizing students to environmental issues. Students demonstrated a better understanding of the importance of reducing plastic waste and adopting eco-friendly habits
