Sugar Boards Initiative

As part of the Sugar Boards Initiative introduced by CBSE, a special awareness assembly was conducted on 21 July, 2025 to educate students about the impact of excessive sugar consumption and to promote healthier lifestyle choices.

The assembly began with a thought-provoking quote on health and well-being, followed by a brief introduction on the importance of limiting sugar intake. Students highlighted the harmful effects of excessive sugar consumption through a short skit and informative speeches. They explained how high sugar levels can lead to various health issues such as obesity, diabetes, and tooth decay, especially among children and teenagers.

This initiative aims to raise awareness about excessive sugar consumption and its associated health risks, including obesity, diabetes, and other lifestyle-related diseases, which are increasingly affecting children at a young age. The session was informative and engaging, successfully spreading awareness among students about making conscious decisions regarding their daily sugar intake.

BOMIS congratulates Karnika and her family for this glorious achievement.
